About IL Solar Deals

IL Solar Deals helps Illinois homeowners figure out whether solar makes sense for their home, and connects them with installers who serve their area. We focus on homes served by ComEd and Ameren Illinois, where state incentives are among the strongest in the country but the rules can be confusing.

Since 2025, Illinois has changed how solar owners are credited for exported power, added a utility solar rebate, and lost the federal homeowner tax credit. Our guides explain what those changes mean in plain English, so you can compare quotes with confidence. Read how we research and fact-check them in our editorial policy.

How we work

• Requesting a quote is free and there's no obligation.
• We share your request only with installers and partners named in our consent language.
• We are not an installer, a utility or a government program.

IL Solar Deals is operated by Select Prospects LLC.
